QUARANTINE AND FOOD

Hello everyone, This is my first time writing an official blog. Wanted to write it for quite sometime but now it is finally happening. So i am TOTALLY excited !!!

In the beginning of covid 19, I had been doing nothing at all except for watching news and binge watching Netflix. But later on, I started having interest in cooking and baking and started posting it on my instagram handle to which I received an enormous well response.

To be honest, i had never made any sorts of dishes before and my mom can totally agree with it as i use to rarely enter the kitchen.

So, here I am sharing one of my favourite recipes which is easy to cook, mouth watering and doesn’t requires you to be a pro chef.

   PANEER TIKKA AND GREEN CHUTNEY .        

  1. Taking 2 tb besan (gram flour) and roast it on medium flame.
  2.  Take it in bowl and add 0.5 cup curd. 
  3.  To this mixture add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tbsp roasted jeera powder, 1 tbsp garam masala, 1 tbsp crushed black pepper, 1.5 tbsp mustard oil
  4.  To this add roasted besan prepared above.
  5.   Add  1.5 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  6.  Now add 1.5 tbsp fruit colour (like beetroot) – totally optional
  7.  Some salt to taste
  8.  Add 1tbsp turmeric powder
  9.  Give this a good mix
  10. Your marinate is ready
  11. To this mixture, put your chopped paneer pieces first and then capsicum and onions nd marinate it in refrigerator for 30 min.
  12. Now arrange your pieces and shallow fry them in griller from all the sides.( well i actually grilled them in a microwave about 25-30 min duration. Just suit yourself)
